The AMSPEC provides access to six major finanical databases to the California State University (CSU) system. The databases include: Compustat, Global Vantage, CRSP, Disclosure, IMF and FRB. Users can choose among three options when accessing data, depending on their needs. Students can use the web interface which is the easiest and most convenient method; the AMSPEC for Windows softare provides greater functionality along with the ocnvenience of a point-and-click interface; and researchers may access databases using Fortran via direct logon to their accounts.
