Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can affect patients in different manners and levels. For this reason, standardized instruments to carry out the evaluation of those patients were elaborated to help the health professional in this process. This educational resource contains information on the main instruments [Community Integration Questionnaire (CIQ), Disability Rating Scale (DRS), Functional Independence Measure (FIM), Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS), Trail Making Test (TMT) and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS)], considering the scientific evidence about them. As complementary material, it brings links to related documents and comparative tables containing significant data on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) concepts on the body functions components evaluated by the items of the instruments most used in individuals with TBI and on the ICF concepts on the activity and participation component evaluated by the items of these instruments for a thorough study.
