SCIENCE OF FRIENDSHIP The Science of Friendship   Did you know there’s a SCIENCE to making friends? Of course friendships can (and do) from on their own. And no one can be “forced” into a friendship. But there are ways to create an environment that fosters connection and sets the stage for friendship to form. That’s where the Science of Friendship comes in!

Designed for use by recreational, camp and after-school programs, the Science of Friendship is a series of simple, practical steps practitioners can implement to help children of ALL abilities build meaningful friendships.

The Science of Friendship model is easily adaptable to virtually any program and has helped children in a variety of situations make friends and feel included--especially when coupled with the tips, advice, and expertise in our Inclusion Toolkit.
