Guided by previously validated OER assessment rubrics (i.e., Achieve, 2011; Faculty Guide for Evaluating Open Education Resources by BCOER, 2015), we have submitted an updated rubric that is inclusive of contemporary OER areas that have not been previously integrated into existing available rubrics.  Some innovative features include: (1) a comprehensive, condensed 1-page rubric that is open, accessible, and easy to navigate for the purposes of reviewing newly adapted and/or curated OER materials, (2) inclusion of diverse and multiple perspectives, and (3) copyright and licensing of new media.
