The Australian construction industry holds a remarkable diversity of roles and specialisations, especially when compared internationally. Each role plays a crucial part in the seamless execution of construction projects. The purpose of this project was to develop a range of videos that provide an insight into the variety of rewarding and dynamic opportunities within the field. This collection of videos includes roles such as graduate project coordinator, site supervisor, health and safety advisor, project coordinator, senior project engineer, senior site manager, social procurement manager and construction director. The Australian context of the videos supports Australian students to explore roles in construction.

These videos were developed by Dr Nateque Mahmood, Dr Abid Hasan, Dr Glenn Costin and Ankitha Vijaykumar from the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University. This project was supported by the Deakin OER Grant Program. Thanks to Built, Christian Bass and Michael Wescott from the DLF team, and the Deakin Library team.
