The Australian construction industry holds a remarkable diversity of roles and specialisations, especially so when compared internationally. Each role plays a crucial part in the seamless execution of construction projects. This project complements Series 1 of the Construction Career Collection providing insight into the variety of rewarding and dynamic opportunities in the residential construction industry.Developed with the aim of showcasing the diversity of roles within the construction industry, this collection of videos includes roles such as Construction Manager, Operations Support Manager, Pre-site Manager, Building Estimator, Sales Manager, Electrical Design Consultant, Interior Designer, Sales Technical Support Draftsperson, and Studio M Associate. The Australian context of the videos supports Australian students to explore roles in construction.These videos are published with a CC BY NC licence. These videos were developed by Dr Nateque Mahmood, Dr Abid Hasan and Dr Glenn Costin, and Dr Ankitha Vijaykumar from the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University.
