This site provides two interactive activities pertaining to evolution. The first animation, The Big Picture, includes information about the evidence for evolution including natural selection, fossils and species distributions across the world. There are also Check your Understanding questions asked at various points in the animation. The second activity, called Evolution in Action, is an interactive animation that allows one to conduct an experiment to test whether evolution will occur in a population of fruit flies. This animation also asks Check you Understanding questions throughout the animation. With each activity, there is a subtitle button that allows one to select English or Spanish subtitles.
