Material Detail

Skydust is a free browser-based planetarium for exploring a calculated night sky. Learners can choose a location and time, then search for stars, planets and other targets. The page is available in English and Arabic and displays times in Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4). It can support introductory astronomy activities about identifying celestial objects and how the sky changes with time and location. The chart is a simulation: weather, nearby lights and an obstructed horizon affect what can actually be observed.
