Bun & Bolt Math is a free visual dictionary of mathematics with more than 100 interactive entries covering algebra, geometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, Fourier analysis, probability and statistics, chaos, fractals, and number theory. Each entry pairs a browser-based visualization with a short explanation. Learners can change parameters and explore how mathematical ideas behave.
The collection supports classroom demonstrations and independent exploration alongside a course. Presentation mode supports classroom projection, share links preserve settings, and hosted pages can be embedded in HTTPS course websites. Available in 14 language versions on computers and mobile devices, with no account or payment required.
Text, images and videos are licensed under CC BY 4.0. The shared calculation library and tests are separately available under MIT at https://github.com/goatrabbit/bunandbolt-math-core; this is not the complete website source.Technical Requirements and Accessibility (creator-supplied, 29 October 2026): Browser-based; designed for current desktop, iOS and Android browsers. No native app or account is required. Interactivity needs JavaScript; some pages, including Newton fractal, need WebGL 2 and compatible graphics. Shared panel controls support keyboard use, but some graph tasks require a pointer or touch. Canvas/WebGL graphics lack complete nonvisual equivalents. We have not completed a formal WCAG audit or issued a VPAT; complete screen-reader workflows, contrast, color-independent interpretation and zoom/reflow have not been comprehensively assessed. Reduced-motion settings do not necessarily stop every animation. Report accessibility issues via Feedback or hello@bunandbolt.com.
