Teachers can sign up to receive Flinn Scientific Safety Notes via email, and over 1300 Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) written specifically for science instructors teaching at a middle school, high school or community college are available. Flinn MSDS meet American Chemistry Council and ANSI standards. A multi-page model Chemical Hygiene Plan which teachers can alter to meet an individual school's needs is also provided. Although this is a legal requirement in 40 states, lab science teachers are generally not paid for this extra work - so Flinn's contributions are of tremendous value!
