Redesign AAS 210: History of Asians in the United States to enhance student learning and teaching effectiveness through integrating instructional technologies and pedagogical techniques to:
engage students;increase peer-to-peer learning;achieve higher critical thinking domains of knowledge;address issues with accessibility and availability.
Increase AAS 210 student participation in class discussion and activity through a “flipped classroom.” Create learning activities and assignments that account for multiple learning styles. Create instructional materials that incorporate principles of Universal Design.Make AAS 210 available and accessible for students at SFSU to fulfill AERM GE requirement.
