This is the second module in "DNA from the Beginning". DNA from the Beginning is an animated tutorial on DNA, genes and heredity. The science behind each concept is explained using animations, an image gallery, video interviews, problems, biographies, and links. This module introduces the seven different pea traits Mendel studied and the concepts of true breeding plants and different alleles for one trait.The gallery has pictures of Mendel and other Monks, there are some audio files of Robert Olby discussing aspects of Mendel's personality and character and there is an included biography with details about Mendel's life. There is also a simple question about how to set up a cross.
