Encinitas Union School District  Use of Mobile Devices  Research Study 2012‐2013 

'The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) commissioned the Mobile Technology Learning Center at the University of San Diego to conduct a study on how the use of mobile devices is affecting teaching and learning in the district. The study was designed and conducted in the second year of the district’s one-to-one iPad initiative. The iPad initiative is funded by a voter-approved school bond extension intended to help the district in three areas: provide students with 21st Century classrooms, improve energy efficiency, and upgrade and renovate facilities.
