Teaching with Mobile Devices in Cajon Valley Union School District
This is a report from the Cajon Valley Unified School District (CVSD) experiment with mobile devices.
'The teachers who participated in this study were beginning their third year of utilizing devices. The purpose of this study was to identify teacher best practices and potential areas of focus for enhanced teacher professional development to support effective uses of mobile technology for student learning.
Researchers from the Mobile Technology Learning Center (MTLC) were commissioned to conduct case studies of five elementary school teachers who utilized either an iPod Touch or iPad as part of their classroom instruction. This longitudinal multiple-case study included observation phases in the fall, winter, and spring of the 2012-2013 academic year.'
