Overcoming a Barrier to Rural Nursing Education Through Simulation

The article outlines a study evaluating the effectiveness of simulation clinicals during nursing school. The author's motivation for including more simulation in the nursing education environment is to provide increased and improved quality of access to nursing students in rural locations like the one studied in Northwest Tennessee. The study found that nursing students who were exposed to simulation during nursing school felt that it had an overall positive effect.
