This particular provider-neutral e-monograph guide is quickly becoming outdated since its publication in 2011. It's definitely useful for anyone who is interested in teaching or learning about the history of cataloging, and it can be a useful way to see how catalogers were dealing with electronic materials in the early days of RDA. However, LC/PCC now has more current guidelines for provider-neutral cataloging for all formats, and those resources would probably be most helpful in a modern-day class.
