 The present bilingual medical dictionary is intended for the many English- speaking physicians, dentists, nurses, and paramedics treating Haitian patients. It is meant to serve as a corollary both to our Haitian-English Medical Phraseology and to Third-World Folk Beliefs and Practices: Haitian Medical Anthropology. The original intention was to present all three as a single work, but as the material grew, it became advisable to separate the parts into three more easily manageable volumes.
