This program provides a basic introduction for individuals seeking information published in print and online. Fundamental research concepts addressed and assessed include differences between scholarly and popular information sources, primary and secondary sources, and informal and authoritative Web sites. A number of extra features augment the textual content. These include several Flash movies, and an activity on primary and secondary sources that incorporates animation and a three-question quiz. A Web-based three-question quiz concludes the program.
